The club’s formats

Arena Polo Night
Evening matches under the lights, in a stadium or a square: the format designed for towns and cities and for summer, when the evenings are cool for horses and spectators alike.

Arena Polo by the Sea
The arena by the sea, on a quayside or on a beach outside the bathing season: sport, scenery and hospitality in a single event.

Polo Day and clinics
Taster days for those who want to try, clinics for those who already play, exhibitions to introduce the game to schools and families.

Club Cup
An amateur tournament for members only, in collaboration with clubs affiliated to FISE – Federazione Italiana Sport Equestri (the Italian Equestrian Sports Federation), to play together and help new players grow.

Only events with confirmed dates, venues and authorisations appear here.

Polo Day for schools and families
A day introducing horses and polo, on the ground and in the saddle, with qualified instructors and in complete safety.
How a club event comes about
- Site visit. We visit the venue with the municipality or the operator: dimensions, surface, access, space for horses and spectators.
- Design. We design the arena, the programme and the hospitality with the technical director and the vet.
- Authorisations. FISE, the municipality, the public entertainment safety commission, the maritime or port authority where needed, animal health rules for the horses.
- Teams, horses and officials. All in accordance with FISE rules.
- Safety. Emergency plan, medical cover, protection for spectators.
- Communication. We announce the event only once dates and authorisations are confirmed.
- Restoration. At the end, we return the venue exactly as we found it.
The rules that apply at every event are set out in the Event Regulations.
Would you like to host an event?
Municipalities, ports, beach clubs, stadiums, hotels and organisers: if you have a space where an arena could be set up, write to us. We will tell you what is needed, with realistic timescales for the authorisations.
